  Welcome to my website. My name is Alena Ruleva, and as you probably have already understood, I am a photographer =)
  I started photographing in 2008. Everything began with the festival Steresummer where I was invited as the photographer. Since then, I prefer to visit almost all the concerts with camera in hand. When you take pictures of musicians, you feel a wonderful sense of unity of music and visual art. Sounds a bit pompous, but how else to explain the purpose for which you can't find words?
  Photographing bands did not become my main profession, but gave me a chance to get acquainted with talented musicians and interesting people in the concert industry. I was lucky enough to photograph concerts of such bands as Meshuggah, DOWN, Sick of it all, Madball, Mad Sin, Das Ich, Kitty ... a great honor for me to work with music sites a1tv.ru and headbanger.ru. And it makes me happy to work now with a team of musical site onmusicstage.com. Music opens the door to a new world, and I was lucky enough to see this world =)
  I am fascinated not only by making musical photos. I love photographing people in general. I like to seal them in a photograph people's emotions, their feelings. All this represents a wedding photo. I love photographing weddings. I love seeing different people, different emotions, different stories. No two weddings, as no two people are alike. And so it is impossible to photograph two weddings alike. For someone in a perfect wedding day will be staged picture, for someone-reportage. However, the staged, reportage photography, everything is nothing more than labels. I photograph real weddings. Such as they are. Sincere, affectionate, funny and sad, bright and quiet, but always real.
  I've always wondered how closely linked people in the family are. Even if this family is quite young, still it has a special feeling of peace and unity. I find it interesting to keep these family ties in the photo. Glimpse, touch hands, warm smile, this is what our family consists of. For me, it is important to keep in family photos people's feelings, not just their appearance. Hopefully, after many many years, these photos will become someone's family heirloom.
  Of course, it would be foolish to extol the beauty of the soul and the emotional component of photos, not paying attention to the beauty of body. I like to photorgaph portfolio for models in-studio and outdoors. I admire with beauty of human body, and I am glad that I can share my feelings with you through photos.
